Course Description
Fund Raising 101
This overview of fundraising covers key factors necessary for fund raising success. This includes building a strong Board, a strong case for support, and more. Topics covered in this course include annual giving, capital campaigns, volunteer development, the role of Board and staff, and basics of legal and accounting expectations.
Calder Sinclair
Calder Sinclair is an attorney, President of Sinclair, Townes & Company, and the former Director of the Estate Planning Program for Emory University. He is the former national president of the Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation and a member of the State Bar of Georgia and The Florida Bar.

Rob Townes, Executive Vice President, has more than thirty years of experience in development and public relations, providing general, annual, and campaign counsel for numerous non-profits. Rob holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University's Candler School of Theology, a B.B.A. from the University of Mississippi, and has served on Emory University's Alumni Board of Governors.
Gina Snider, Senior Consultant, has fifteen years of fund raising experience, helping non-profit organizations reach their goals through education, identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major donors and prospects. She previously provided fund raising counsel with another consulting firm, serving as Associate Vice President of Project Management and Marketing. Prior to consulting, Gina worked on the campaign for Trinity School, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. She brings to our clients excellent interpersonal, motivational, and leadership skills. Gina is also skilled with the development of campaign case statements and donor proposals.
